“We are so proud of our daughter(s)!  I was a bit saddened to think that she wrote this amazing piece for Sunday In The Pines and decided to give it to her counselor first.  I don’t mind being in 2nd place – she felt closest to her counselor and was so very inspired by her.  I do not know how she would have fared with another!  As I wept on the phone upon initial contact with camp as our second daughter left for ALC, I , once again realized, that Alford Lake Camp is different from any other!  I know that the women (and entire staff) who make up the leadership at ALC are absolutely EXTRAORDINARY!” – Parent
