Emma Raynes, an ALC alum (camper and staff)
has an upcoming photography show at
the NESTO GALLERY, Milton Academy in Milton MA.
This show is made up of Emma’s Brazlian photographies from her time, as a Lewis Hine Documentary Fellow. As a Hine Fellow, her goal was to document and strengthen the connection between seasonal sugarcane workers and their families. “ For more information click here.

Valerie Orth is living in San Francisco and has just cut her second album titled “Valerie Orth, this at last”. She performed at Slainte on Preble Street in Portland last night and her sister Annemarie Orth got up and sang with her on a couple of songs! They were both in camp for 4 years in the early ‘90’s (90-94). Murphy won one of two seats on the School Committee along with Helene Gilbody Blair on Nantucket, MA.

Our Fabulous directors, Sue McMullan and Betsy Brayley
will be representing Alford Lake Camp
at the Camden-Rockport 2009 Summer Activities Fair.
Spring may seem far away but the annual Summer Activities Fair
sponsored by the MSAD#28 PTA is just around the corner! Each year about 40
organizations offering summer programs for children participate in this event.
Location: Rockport Elementary School East
(at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 90)
