Alford Lake Camp is a lifetime experience. Whether you’re 8 or 80, chances are your summers at Alford Lake have continued to affect you, far after the buses have pulled away and the blueberry blues have been packed for the winters ahead. Who among us hasn’t burst out in a camp song in the middle of the winter? Or, upon moving to a new city, hasn’t wished for a few friendly faces in the midst of an unfamiliar place? The shared values, traditions, and Alford Lake Camp spirit propel us forward, but it’s often hard to hold onto them during the months and years when we’re not at camp.
With this in mind, we are so pleased to introduce the Alford Lake Camp Alumnae/i Association, dedicated to fostering a community outside of camp not limited to summers, to years, to times and places. Through this Association, alumnae can stay in touch with each other and Alford Lake Camp, attend local events, and help to create a network of local chapters around the States and world.
We’re still in the beginning stages of developing the mission and goals of our Association. We want to hear from you! Do you have a great idea for a local event in your area? Are you interested in serving as a local resource for other Alford Lake alums in your town? Update your contact information!
