From a staff member's perspective my five favorite things:

(1) Seeing returning campers sharing their love of ALC traditions with new campers!
(2) Watching talented and accomplished young women serve as counselors with a simple goal of making each day at ALC one of fun and purpose for their campers.
(3) Working with Sue, Besty and Jean to ensure that 103 years of residential camping continues to enrich the lives of young women.
(4) Realizing that there are people and places that remain true to their belief statements and through this, we all benefit. And grateful that parents continue to see the value of this rich experience for their daughters.
(5) As a non-teaching staff member of ALC, to be truly inspired and impressed with the members of our entire camp community! Both in-camp and extended trip campers and counselors welcome a wide variety of challenges and embrace change each summer. Seeing these young women grow to know themselves better through an array of amazing activities, advenutures and experiences both large and small.
