This is beautiful Kim and it truly captures the essence of camp. It is true to in many sense "play" has been lost in society as we become more distant from eachother due to the division of computer screens. It is true that camp is the only place that I truly get to play- both as a camper and a CT. Our busy lives at home warrant little time for play, but at camp our busy days encourage play. That magical play should always be cherished, and ALC does a beautiful job of reminding our culture how vital play truly is.
