“I have learned that ‘absence does make the heart grow fonder’ . . . and I didn’t think that it was possible to be fonder of camp!  I yearn for the place (camp) where my favorite gifts are notes or posters saying “I love you” from the greatest friends I have.  I yearn for the place where a gift is spending time with people and telling them how much they mean to you.  I miss the ‘world’ where everyone is friendly and enthusiastic and where nobody cares what you look like in the morning and where campers will write you notes because you played with them the day before.  I miss camp more than I ever have.”
