The MSA Trip is a new five-week adventure that gives campers the opportunity to explore Maine from the Mountains to the Sea. Canoeing lakes and rivers, rock climbing in Acadia National Park, sea kayaking, surfing, and living on a farm are highlights of this adventure.
MSA is a physically and mentally demanding trip. Campers live in a small group in a wilderness setting - away from running water and electricity and are outdoors and active all summer.
Throughout the trip, campers practice leadership skills; learn to act with confidence and competence; respect and collaborate with others; learn to care for themselves and others; understand their habits, strengths and areas for growth; function under difficult circumstances; make informed and thoughtful decisions; communicate effectively and manage conflict; and appreciate living simply.
